Xerox's Chief Financial Officer Leaving For Another Post

Xerox is looking for a new Chief Financial Officer.

Kathryn Mikells, who has held the job since May of 2013, is leaving for another opportunity. Reports are that she will become the CFO of Diageo, the global alcoholic beverages company.

Before she joined Xerox, she was the CFO of United Airlines.

Mikells will remain with Xerox until the end of the month to help with the transition. Xerox Chairman and CEO Ursula Burns says that as part of the leadership team, Mikellshelped bring additional focus to the company’s strategic priorities.

Mikells said that leaving Xerox is a difficult decision, but she was “presented with a unique opportunity I could not pass up.”  She says she leaves Xerox knowing that it is on the right path to deliver its strategy for clients and shareholders.

Xerox says that Leslie Varon, vice president of Investor Relations, will be the interim CFO until a permanent success is named.
