Xerox Buys Medical Management Company

Xerox

Xerox is buying RSA Medical, an Illinois-based company that provides medical management services.

Xerox says the acquisition will expand its portfolio of healthcare service offerings to payers and life insurers, which the company says will enhance outreach services to members of these health plans.

Xerox Senior Vice President Kelly Rakowski says an estimated 16 million more Americans have health insurance under the Affordable Care Act, and with the acquisition of RSA Medical, they will be able to educate new enrollees about services available to them.

The RSA management team and its employees will remain with the company.  Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
