Women's Rugby Club At The College At Brockport Investigated About Hazing Allegation

The Women's Rugby Club at the College at Brockport has been investigated for possible hazing.

College spokesman John Follaco says because of that, the team is currently suspended from participating in organized team activities pending the outcome of a hearing.

Results of the investigation are being presented to the college's Student Conduct Board. The investigation resulted from an alleged incident on September 29th.  Follaco did not detail the allegation, but did stress that university police have reviewed the case and determined the allegation did not rise to the level of criminal hazing. That type of hazing is when there is a substantial risk of physical injury.

The conduct board that will review the incident consists of trained faculty, staff and students.
