The Buffalo-based publication, Business First is out with its annual rankings of Upstate school districts. It’s based on the academic performance of 429 public school districts in New York’s 48 counties based on four years of test data from the State Education Department.
This year, school districts in Monroe County (Pittsford, Honeoye Falls and Brighton) hold 3 of the top 4 positions, but the Rochester City School District comes in last on the list at 429.
