A tractor-trailer flipped over on 490 East near Goodman Street on Monday afternoon, causing some major delays.
The truck was carrying packages of peat moss.
Rochester firefighters were called to the scene about 2:45 p.m. A light pole also was involved in the accident, and firefighters went through the back window of the truck cab to make contact with the driver.
The driver declined to be taken to the hospital. There was no one else in the vehicle.
Traffic was limited to one lane in both directions, and that continued into the afternoon rush hour.
State Police say both the eastbound and westbound sides of the highway were reduced to one lane.
