Tornado Watch For Parts Of Upstate NY

The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for some counties to the east and south of Rochester Monday until 5:00 pm. The watch includes Seneca, Steuben and Yates Counties.  That's as a result of an intense cold front moving through the region on Monday.

The forecast does call for periods of rain, heavy at times, as well as a chance of thunderstorms.Winds in the Rochester area are expected to gust over 30 miles an hour at times.

Early Monday morning we  saw temperatures starting in the 70s but they will fall to the 50s by later in the day.
