The NYS Thruway Authority has issued a travel advisory between Albany and NYC due to the impending storm.
According to the Thruway: The National Weather Service has issued a severe winter storm warning from Albany to the NYC line beginning today through Tuesday night. Heavy snow, high winds and poor visibility are expected. Motorists are encouraged to avoid travel if possible.
