Monroe County will take part in a statewide crackdown on drunk driving this Labor Day weekend.
Monroe County Sheriff Patrick O'Flynn says it's designed to make the public more aware, and reinforce the message "think before you drive, and do not drink and drive."
O'Flynn says the crackdown is sponsored by the Governor's Traffic Safety Council, and has the support of state police and Sheriff's Association, and the Chiefs of Police Association.
He says they're all working together with the mission of making the roads safer.
