Sports Complex Plan for Victor Moves Forward

Apr 9, 2013

A proposal to construct a huge 94-acre sports complex in the town of Victor cleared another hurdle as the town board signed off on rezoning a parcel of land in Fishers for the project.
Many residents are concerned about the impact traffic congestion will have on the already crowded roads in Victor.
Victor Town Supervisor Jack Marren says he's heard about the traffic problems in Victor for years, and it's a good problem to have.
He says traffic would still be an issue in the town of Victor even if they stopped building altogether.
Among other things, plans for the Pinnacle Athletic Campus include six outdoor fields for soccer and softball, indoor basketball, volleyball and tennis courts, along with hotels and medical buildings.
The proposal now goes to the Victor Planning Board.
