Due to the Spiderman filming in Rochester, there will be two sets of Downtown street and sidewalk closures and restrictions on Wednesday, May 1; one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Closures and restrictions will begin between 5 and 5:30 a.m. and will be lifted around 9 p.m. Drivers and pedestrians are advised to allow 15 to 20 extra minutes to enter and exit Downtown during that time.
Wednesday, May 1 MORNING street closures:
. Main St. from Exchange Blvd. to East Ave.
. Vehicles will not be permitted. Expect delays.
. Pedestrians requiring access to buildings along this section of Main St. will be directed by Rochester police officers and/or film production company staff (who will wear identifiable credentials and be posted at intersections).
Wednesday, May 1 MORNING local traffic only access:
. Basin St.
. Aqueduct St. from Main St. to Broad St.
. St. Paul St. from Andrews to Main St.
. Stone St. from Main St. to Broad St.
. S. Clinton from Main St. to Broad St.
. Vehicle and pedestrian access to buildings, parking lots and garages on these streets will be permitted.
Wednesday, May 1 AFTERNOON street closures:

. East Ave. from Main St. to Scio St.
