Solar Array Provides Power to Bausch and Lomb Facilities

Bausch and Lomb says it will be reducing its carbon footprint locally by 800 tons of carbon dioxide each year with the installation of new solar panels.

The solar array, which the company says is one of the largest in the region, features 3,667 solar panels.

They began providing energy to B + L's Rochester facility last week.

The company estimates it will result in savings of at least $115,000 dollars annually
