(TWC News & WXXI) Six people were taken to the hospital Friday after some cleaning chemicals were mixed inside a maintenance room at the Holiday Inn on Jefferson Road.. The vapors caused eye irritation.
Firefighters said the people taken to the hospital are expected to be okay.
The hotel was evacuated, and guests were taken to a nearby business and then to another hotel.
Hazardous material teams used hoses to clean the patients before they were transported to the hospital.
