Simon Business School Dean To Step Down

www.simon.rochester.edu

The Dean of the Simon School of Business at the University of Rochester is stepping down. Mark Zupan, who has held that post since 2004, will leave the dean's position next June when his term expires.

After the 54 year old Zupan leaves the dean's post, he will take a year's sabbatical. After that sabbatical, Zupan will teach economics and public policy at the Simon School.

The President of the U of R, Joel Seligman  thanked Zupan for what he called a "magnificent job," and said that Zupan helped the business school build new strengths in a number of areas including entrepreneurship.

Seligman will head up a search committee that will look for the new dean.
