Several Students Treated For Minor Injuries After Greece School Bus Crash

TWC News

Several students suffered minor injuries after two school buses collided in Greece on Friday afternoon.

It happened just before 3pm on Latta Road, just west of Dewey Avenue. Police say one bus collided with the rear-end of another bus as both buses were headed eastbound.

Authorities say the driver of the bus that struck the other one became distracted while checking via the mirror on an unruly passenger.

The buses were transporting about 85 students from Arcadia Middle School.  All students were evaluated by a doctor on the scene, and eight students were taken to the hospital as a precaution, with minor injuries.

The parents of the injured students were notified personally, and the others received an automated phone message.
