Rochester Police have made an arrest in connection with a shooting that injured a 13 year old girl on the northeast side late Monday afternoon.
It happened at 90 Hollister Street. Police say the girl suffered what appears to be a non-life threatening injury. She was taken to Strong Hospital.
Police say their preliminary investigation determined that several males were standing in the driveway of the house when someone in a minivan fired several shots at the people in the driveway. The girl was on the enclosed porch when she was shot. Officers say she does not appear to be the intended victim. Police have now arrested 20 year old Joshua Sutton of the city, and charged him with assault and reckless endangerment.
