Rochester Peregrine Falcons Multiply

Four  peregrine falcons, called ‘eyases,’ have hatched in a nestbox on top of the Times Square building at the corner of Broad and Exchange  in downtown Rochester.

Falcon enthusiasts have been talking about the births on social media this week. On Saturday, the website at rfalconcam.com said:

“What an eggciting day here in Rochester, NY! Three of the four eggs in the nest box on top of the Times Square Building have hatched! Both parents, Beauty and Dot.ca, are looking after them. Now we wait for #4 to arrive.”

And #4 did arrive, accordoing to the @rfalconcam Twitter feed early Monday morning.
