Rideout trial verdicts: Laura and Colin found guilty of murder

 (WXXI News & Spectrum News) After more than four days of deliberations, a Monroe County jury on Tuesday rendered verdicts in the murder trial of Craig Rideout.

The jury found Craig's estranged wife Laura Rideout guilty of murder, tampering with evidence and burglary.

Craig's son Colin Rideout, was found guilty of murder and tampering with evidence.

Alex Rideout, also Craig's son, was found not guilty of murder, but guilty of tampering with evidence.

Paul Tucci, Laura's boyfriend, was found not guilty of both murder and tampering with evidence.

Jurors began deliberating July 19. There was testimony from more than 50 witnesses and more than 600 pieces of evidence for jurors to consider.

Sentencing will be September 1 for Alex, Colin and Laura Rideout. All three Rideouts were taken away in handcuffs. Tucci was cleared of all charges.

The case dates back to  July 19th of 2016; the last day Craig was seen alive.
