Rochester Regional Health System has implemented restrictions on patient visitors due to the increase in the number of flu cases in this area.

They include:

-A maximum of two visitors per patient at a time on all units.

-All visitors in all units must be at least 14 years old.

- All visitors experiencing any symptoms typically associated with the flu (runny nose, coughing/sneezing, high temperature, etc.) are asked NOT to visit hospitalized patients.

This includes Rochester General, Unity and Newark-Wayne Community Hospitals. Strong Hospital and its affiliates announced a similar program recently.
