Presidential Candidates Planning Stops Through The Region

With the April 19 New York presidential primary looming, the pace of candidates coming through the region is picking up. This is the first time in quite a while that the nomination process for presidential candidates is still in flux prior to New York's primary, and that's brought increased attention by the various campaigns.

Hillary Clinton

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is coming to Monroe Community College's Brighton Campus on Friday.  She will speak  at the Samuel J. Stabins Physical Education Complex from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.  The doors open at 4:00 p.m. You need to RSVP at hillaryclinton.comif you plan to attend.

John Kasich

Republican John Kasich is going to be at a town hall-type appearance in Greece on Saturday at the Town of Greece Community and Senior Center. Doors open at 10:30 a.m. for the 11 a.m. event.

Donald Trump

Republican front-runner Donald Trump will make an appearance Sunday at JetSmart Aviation Services on Scottsville Road at 3 p.m. The doors open at Noon. You can get info about tickets here. Trump will also be in Buffalo on April 17. Trump has the endorsement of Monroe County Republican Chairman Bill Reilich.

Ted Cruz

There are also reports that Ted Cruz will be in Rochester sometime next week, he was in Schenectady on Thursday.

Bernie Sanders

No official word on whether Sanders will be coming to Rochester, but Sanders will be at the University at Buffalo on Monday at 7 p.m.
