Precision manufacturer expanding, moving into Greece

A company which makes precision machined components is moving its operation from Rochester to the Town of Greece.

That according to Greece Supervisor Bill Reilich, who says that Addison Precision Manufacturing, currently located on Avis Street in Rochester, has grown too large for its current location and is building and moving into a new facility on Gates-Greece Townline Road.

Reilich says the new facility will give the company the ability to expand by about 30 percent if needed. The site is on land owned by Munipro, Inc., which is a public benefit corporation in the town of Greece.

Addison makes parts used in the aerospace, aircraft, medical and precision manufacturing industries.

There was no immediate word on how many people will be employed in the new location or how many workers might be added to Addison’s payroll.
