TWC News

State Police now say that a 4 year old child was killed in a  crash on Route 104 in Irondequoit early Tuesday morning.

Troopers say that an eastbound vehicle driven by 21 year old Juliana Rivera of Rochester crossed the median into the westbound lanes of Route 104 near the Goodman Street exit. Her car struck a westbound 4-door truck.

Juliana's two children, 3 year old Makaylee, and 4 year old Marializ were in the back seat in booster seats.

Marializ was pronounced dead at Rochester General. Both Rivera and Makalee was taken to Strong Hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the truck, 43 year old Daniel Robinson of Webster was taken to RGH for treatment.

Police are still trying to find out why Rivera's car crossed the median.
