Phelan to Be Sworn In Today as Greece Police Chief

Town of Greece, NY Police patch

The new Greece Police chief will be sworn in Monday morning. Last week, town supervisor Bill Reilich named Patrick Phelan to take over for Todd Baxter. Baxter held the post for the last four years, and he is now moving over to head up the Veteran’s Outreach Center in Rochester.

Phelan has been a Greece Police Captain and he is a 25 year veteran of that department.

His father Gerald is a former chief of the department. The swearing in ceremony for Patrick Phelan is at 9:30 this morning at the Greece Community and Senior Center.
