The Penfield School Board has named a new superintendent.
Actually, Thomas Putnam has been serving as Acting Superintendent since last July. He previously served as principal of Penfield High School for four years. The appointment is effective immediately.
Board President Carole Nasra said that officials ”have been privileged to have Dr. Putnam as an administrator in the District for the past several years. He has demonstrated his commitment to the Penfield community and its students, and we are looking forward to working with him as we continue to strive for excellence in our schools.”
