Rochester Police say a 17-year old girl was struck by a car and killed while crossing Dewey Avenue.
It happened last night around 9:30. The young woman, whose name has not been released, died following surgery at Strong Memorial Hospital.
A 23-year old city man has been charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
