There is some more state money headed to Monroe County to help with repairs to infrastructure damaged by last year’s flooding along the Lake Ontario shoreline.
That’s according to Governor Andrew Cuomo, who says that the Town of Greece will receive just over $576,000 and the Town of Parma just over $366,000.
The money in Greece will help cover reimbursements for expenses related to inspection services and the implementation of traffic control measures. The funds for Parma will also include the purchase of equipment and sand bags.
New York has committed $55 million to recovery efforts following last year’s flooding.
