NWS: "Snowstorm is Nothing We Can't Handle"

The National Weather Service says the Rochester area is expected to get 8 to 12 inches of snow from a storm that will definitely impact the entire northeast this weekend.
Jim Mitchell is a meteorologist with National Weather Service in Buffalo.
He says the moderate snow should start to arrive late tomorrow morning and last through tomorrow night.
And while the greatest amounts will fall up by the lakeshore, and east of Rochester, Mitchell says this will be a "nice snowstorm, nothing out of the ordinary and nothing we can't handle."
He says this storm is going to impact the entire northeast.
And United Airlines has already canceled over 350 flights for tomorrow in advance of the storm.
Newark Liberty, Chicago O'Hare and Boston Logan airports have the most cancellations, according to the website FlightAware.
