The Buffalo Bills can now call Ralph Wilson Stadium their home for the next several season.
The National Football League has approved the recently completed deal among the Bills, the state, and Erie County that keeps the Bills at Ralph Wilson Stadium for the next ten years, and includes major renovations to the stadium.
Buffalo Bills President and CEO Russ Brandon issued a statement.
He said "This is another important step in the process toward finalizing the related definitive agreements and remaining on schedule to begin the improvements this year.  We anticipate the final approval by the Erie County Legislature and the New York State Legislature in the next couple weeks.”
NFL owners approved the terms of the lease during league meetings yesterday.
