Darien Lake announced two new rides Thursday.
One is a 70-foot tall water ride, named Brain Drain.
The description is that the floor drops out from underneath you, and you spiral at 38-feet-per-second to a splash pool.
The other a seven-story steel loop called Rolling Thunder. Park operators say you rock back and forth until you get enough momentum for several loops, hang upside down, go backward and start over again.

The Genesee County theme park says the rides are a multi-million dollar investment that should be ready for opening day, May 9.
