By the fall of 2015, the National Toy Hall of Fame at The Strong will house the Toy Industry Association's Hall of Fame in a new four-million dollar installation at the museum.
Officials announced the partnership Tuesday.
TIA president Carter Keithley says toys are the tool of play, so it makes sense to put the creators next to them.
Past inductees in the Toy Association's Hall of Fame include Walt Disney, George Lucas, and the creators of Hasbro and Mattel.
TIA will fund 75 percent of the $4 million exhibit, which is expected to open in the fall of 2015.
County officials expect the new national museum will attract about 40,000 more visitors to Rochester each year. County Executive Maggie Brooks delivered the news at the museum which you can see below:
