Monroe County has named a new Commissioner of Human Services. Corinda Crossdale, who previously worked for the county as Office for the Aging Director, will fill that spot.
Crossdale was in that role from 2004 to 2012, and most recently, she has been Director of the New York State Office for the Aging.
In that job, Crossdale is a member of Governor Cuomo's cabinet helping oversee strategies and goals for the office which provides services to more than 1.6 million older adults and their caregivers.
She replaces Kelly Reed, who has held the county job for the last decade and recently announced she would leave when her term expires June 1st.
