Monroe County Deputies have released information about a vehicle found with damage as they continue their investigation into the hit and run accident that seriously injured a bicyclist on Empire Boulevard last Sunday.
That accident injured 56 year old Michael Frisch. Deputies say it appears his bike was struck from behind while he was riding eastbound on Empire Boulevard. He's still in Strong Hospital.
Acting on a tip received through Crimestoppers, deputies found a white 2009 Honda CR-V in a garage on Wishing View Drive in the Town of Webster. It had significant damage to the hood and windshield.
There have been no charges filed at this point and the Monroe County Sheriff's Office is asking anyone with information on who may have been driving that car to call 911.
