Rochester Mayor Lovely Warren, and Robert Morgan of Morgan Management, who has been involved with Larry Glazer on various development projects issued the following statement on Monday:

"Today we had the opportunity to meet to mourn the tragic loss of our mutual friend and business partner, Larry Glazer; and discuss the future as we move ahead in his absence.

Robert Morgan, President and CEO of Morgan Management, LLC, has assured the City that Morgan Management remains strongly committed to the projects that they have been working on in partnership with Buckingham Properties; including Midtown Tower, the Bausch & Lomb Tower and Xerox.

"Larry Glazer and I were close friends and business partners for many years," said Robert Morgan. "A revitalized Rochester has been more than our shared vision-it has been our life work. Our commitment to assuring that all our projects come to fruition is very strong, and is something very worthwhile that I can do to honor the memory of my dear friend. We look forward to continuing our partnership with the Buckingham team as we move forward on these important projects."

"Larry Glazer was the father and the patron saint of the redevelopment of downtown Rochester," said Mayor Warren. "He knew how to do so many things right-including choosing a great partner like Bob Morgan and others who shared his passion for our city. I want to thank Bob and his team for their commitment and heartfelt assurances that the progress on all these important projects will continue unabated."

Simply said, Larry was a visionary and the face of these developments. However, behind every great leader is a great team. He will be missed in so many ways-but I am confident that when people look at Rochester's skyline for decades to come, they will remember Larry and his vision for Rochester."

"Once again, on behalf of the City of Rochester, our deepest condolences go out to the Glazer Family, the team at Buckingham Properties and all of Larry and Jane's many friends."
