Kodak says it will pursue the sale of the Eastman Business Park (formerly Kodak Park).
Kodak's new CEO Jeff Clark, says the park is already on the path to becoming a powerful economic growth engine for this region, and he says a strong new owner will expedite the process. Clarke says Kodak needs to focus on what it does best, which is innovating and delivering superior solutions to customers around the world.
Kodak says as this process moves forward, it will continue to fully support the growing tenant and customer base at the business park.
The Eastman Business Park encomapasses 1200 acres in the City of Rochester and in the Town of Greece.
The head of Empire State Development, the state's economic development agency, Kenneth Adams says that the state will work with Kodak and a potential new owner to ensure stability and attract more private investment.
