Kodak Alaris Expands Into China

Kodak Alaris, the company that spun off from Kodak last year, now has a presence in China. The company recently established a new branch in Shanghai, called Kodak Alaris Trading.

The newly appointed CEO of that company, Ralf Gerbershagen says China is a very important market for the company's global strategy.

Kodak Alaris consists of two business units, document imaging and personalized imaging.

Officials say they already have a lot of experience dealing with the market in China because of the years of experience the former Kodak corporation had in that region.

Kodak Alaris also announced that former Eastman Kodak executive Nicki Zongrone has been appointed as President of the Retail Systems Solutions and Event Imaging Solutions businesses, and Dennis Olbrich moves into the role of President of the Paper and Output Systems and Film Capture businesses.
