Violin virtuoso Itzhak Perlman will be coming back to Rochester. He will perform with the Eastman School of Music's Philharmonia orchestra on Saturday, February 22nd at 8pm at the Eastman Theatre.
Perlman was last here in January of 2012, playing with the RPO.
Neil Varon will be the conductor. Varon joined the Eastman School of Music faculty in 2002, and first met Perlman when Varon was 18 years old and a student at the Juiliard School. Tickets for the February concert range from 20 to 85 dollars and go on sale on November 22nd.
