www.weather.gov

The forecast calls for strong winds and blustery weather this week.

The National Weather Service has issued High Wind Warnings for counties including Monroe,  Livingston, Ontario, Wayne, Orleans, Genesee and Wyoming from early Wednesday morning into Wednesday night.

The forecast calls for westerly winds of 30 to 40mph with gusts of over 60mph possible.

Power outage reports started to increase after 8am, with about 3,000 RG&E customers without electricity in Monroe County. That number is likely to grow during the day.

And there is a Lakeshore Flood Warning for Wayne County from 2pm Wednesday until 2am Thursday with the possibility of some lakeshore flooding and erosion.

With those strong winds coming in Wednesday, we'll see a high start out early in the morning in the 50s, but dropping to the 30s by late Wednesday afternoon.

Thursday will be unseasonably cold with some sun and some flurries and high of just 35.

Friday could see some wet snow and a high near 40.
