Harris Corporation, which has its RF Communications unit based in Rochester, has just seen a big order for military radios. Harris RF has received a $100 million order to provide high frequency tactical radios to the Australian Department of Defense.
This is part of an ongoing relationship between Harris and the Australian government.
There’s no word if the latest contract will lead to more jobs. But earlier this month, the company said it is seeking to fill about 100 engineer openings in Rochester. The jobs are being added to address opportunities from both U.S. and international customers.
