The latest Flower City Habitat for Humanity home on Murray Street is a unique venture.
Arthur Woodward, CEO at Habitat for Humanity, says several businesses helped sponsor the building of the home, and they'll be working at the site, too.
He says gone are the days of a company like a Kodak which sponsors the building of a home.
Woodward says this home was funded through the collaborative efforts of many local businesses, and it's the first so-called "Leaders Build House" in Rochester.
He hopes the Murray Street home will be the first of one new home each year funded this way.
The latest home, Flower City Habitat for Humanity's 211th home in Rochester, should be finished in time for the family to move in for Thanksgiving
