Greece School Supt. To Retire

The Greece School Superintendent is retiring. Barbara Deane-Williams, who has held the post since July of 2011, has emailed a letter to the district staff saying that she has submitted her letter of retirement effective July 1st.

Deane-Williams says that “While it is difficult to leave, I am confident that the great work will continue and that our students will benefit from our incredibly talented and committed staff.”

She also wrote that while it is difficult to leave, “I am confident that the great work will continue and that our students will benefit from our incredibly talented and committed staff.”

There was no immediate word from the district on what the next steps will be in filling that position.
