Police say alcohol may have been a factor in a boating accident at the Summerville Pier in Irondequoit.
It happened late last night when a boat crashed into the pier. The Coast Guard pulled a man, woman and two teenagers from the boat. They were all taken to Strong Hospital with what were described as non-life threatening injuries.
This is the same pier where three people were killed and two others injured when a boat crashed in 2008.
