A man who was Rochester’s deputy mayor in the late 1980’s and early 90’s has died.
According to the Democrat and Chronicle, Christopher Lindley, who was deputy mayor when Tom Ryan was mayor, died Friday after a long battle with heart disease. He was 82.
Lindley had also served on City Council, and in the 1980s hosted a weekly political talk segment on WXXI-TV called “To the Point With Christopher Lindley."
There will be a memorial service October 15th, 10:30 a.m. in City Hall.
