A new report from the Centers for Disease Control says 9 out of 10 Americans eat more than the recommended daily allowance of sodium each day.
Most Americans actually eat more than twice the recommended daily amount making them highly susceptible to high blood pressure and other significant health risks.
WXXI's Steve Dawe interviews Dr. Jason Pacos, a cardiologist at the University of Rochester Medical Center, about the dangers of too much salt in one's diet.
