Deputy Mayor Of Palmyra Facing Charges

The Deputy Mayor of Palmyra is facing several charges relating to his employment at a grocery store.

State Police say 38 year old David Husk is facing five felony counts of falsifying business records and five counts of petty larceny, which are misdemeanors.  He allegedly falsified time cards while employed at Breen's Grocery Store in Palmyra.

Husk is the only candidate on the ballot for village mayor in next Tuesday's elections.

Husk's name remains on the ballot for next week's elections.  He was released  with appearance tickets returnable in Village of Palmyra Court early next month.
