12 noon: Schools for South Sudan documentary

12:30: The future of late-night comedy

1pm: Root shock in Rochester

At noon, we preview our colleague's documentary, Schools for South Sudan. Helene Biandudi-Hofer joins us with a special guest to explain the journey from Rochester to Sudan, and how our community is helping a community on the other side of the world.

At 12:30, we look at the future of late-night television with Tom Proietti, media scholar in residence at St. John Fisher College. CBS is betting on Stephen Colbert to replace Letterman; NBC chose Jimmy Fallon to replace Jay Leno. Are audiences still watching?

At 1pm, we examine root shock. The Rochester Regional Community Design Center hosts another event in their Reshaping Rochester series, and this time the guest is Dr. Mindy Thompson Fullilove. She explains how tearing up city neighborhoods hurts the families that live there.
