Some reminders that might make getting around a little easier:
390 N at Jefferson Road, Henrietta: The ramps to 390 North from Jefferson are closed Saturday and Sunday from 6 am to 8 pm to allow for painting of a railroad bridge. The DOT informs us that the ramps will close again the next two weekends on the same schedule.
490 E/W at CSX Railroad Bridge near Inner Loop/Exit 13, Rochester: Drivers may encounter traffic backups when 490 is reduced to a single lane at times between 9 am and 3 pm. Crews will work on the CSX Railroad bridge over the expressway beginning Monday until approximately October 26.
N. Main St. to close, Fairport: Fairport Police want you to know that N. Main Street in the village will close beginning Monday through Sunday for repairs to the railroad crossing. You also will not be allowed to walk over the tracks.
But the fact that some geniuses were laughed at does not imply that all who are laughed at are geniuses. They laughed at Columbus, they laughed at Fulton, they laughed at the Wright Brothers. But they also laughed at Bozo the Clown.

Rochester City Services: Remember, government offices are closed Monday for Columbus Day. However the City of Rochester WILL pick up garbage and recycling as usual on Monday.
