BUFFALO (AP) The "Beauts,'' Buffalo's entry into the National Women's Hockey League, are spending the unofficial start of summer on the ice.

The Beauts are skating in a summer training camp this weekend at the HarborCenter in Buffalo.

The team is one of four founding teams of the new hockey league launching this fall.

The Connecticut Whale, Boston Pride and New York Riveters have already held their first training camps.
