Authorities say that a man suspected of stealing Rolex watches in Brighton worth nearly $60,000 earlier this week has been captured in New Jersey.
U.S Marshal Charles Salina and Brighton Police Chief Mark Henderson announced the arrest of 27 year old Daniel Sable on a grand larceny charge.
Sable allegedly stole two Rolex watches from Mann's Jewelers on Monroe Avenue last Tuesday and got away.
The U.S. Marshals Task Force developed information through their investigation and tips from the public that Sable was in the North Bergen, NJ area.
Sable was arrested at a bank in that community; officials say at the time of the arrest, Sable tried to get away, but he was taken into custody and charged with resisting arrest.
He is being held in New Jersey pending extradition back to New York. Sable is also wanted by the New York State Division of Parole and by authorities in New Jersey.
