The YWCA of Rochester and Monroe County is taking a Stand Against Racism.
This local and nationwide initiative is designed to build awareness in the community through civic engagement.
"It doesn't take much to participate in the stand against racism. All it takes is a desire to make a difference," says YWCA President and CEO Jean Carroll.
She says this is the second year her organization is participating in this effort. Last year, more than 100 local businesses and groups participated, making Rochester the second-highest number of participating sites in the nation.
