New Law to Aid Breast Cancer Awareness

A new law taking effect in 2013 will provide women with more information when they have exams for breast cancer. WXXI's Scott Fybush spoke to registered nurse Theresa Bowick and Beatriz LeBron, editor-in-chief of ROC ONE magazine, about the attempt to make sure more women in Rochester's city neighborhoods get their exams.

Standing Ovation for Fagan, Marsalis in Brooklyn

Rochester's own Garth Fagan marked the 40th anniversary of his dance troupe in style this week with a performance at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, where he debuted a new collaboration with jazz legend Wynton Marsalis. WXXI's Julie Philipp has been covering the collaboration between Marsalis and Fagan, and she spoke to both of them before they traveled to Brooklyn.
