WXXI's Innovation Trail held a community forum on the dropout crisis in Rochester and upstate New York. Innovation Trail reporter Kate O'Connell reports community members, educators, students and experts all took part in a discussion of ways to stem the growing epidemic of dropping attendance.

A new law taking effect in 2013 will provide women with more information when they have exams for breast cancer. Rochester's own Garth Fagan marked the 40th anniversary of his dance troupe in style this week with a performance at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, where he debuted a new collaboration with jazz legend Wynton Marsalis. WXXI's Julie Philipp has been covering the collaboration between Marsalis and Fagan, and she spoke to both of them before they traveled to Brooklyn.
