Yudelson Running Again For Henrietta Supervisor

Henrietta Democratic Committee

The Henrietta Town Democratic Committee announced a slate of candidates on Saturday and there’s a familiar name at the top of the ticket.

Michael Yudelson, who served six years as Town Supervisor before being defeated by  Republican Jack Moore in 2013, is running for the seat again.

Yudelson switched parties in 2013 after losing a GOP primary to Moore, but still lost in the general election.

Moore has been under fire in recent weeks after allegedly racist comments were made in front of a town employee. Some politicians have called on Moore to resign, but he has refused to do that, and he reportedly is going to run for re-election this year.

Among the other candidates announced Saturday on the Henrietta Democratic ticket:

• Robert Barley, Jr. for Henrietta Town Board

• Michael Stafford for Henrietta Town Board

• Simeon Banister for Monroe County Legislature, District 13

• Maggie Ridge for Monroe County Legislature, District 12

• Monroe County Legislator Justin Wilcox, District 14

Town Democratic officials say that for the first time since 2009, they will field a full slate of candidates for Town Board and Supervisor.
